The Robson Ranch Men’s Golf Association is open to all men at the Ranch. There are weekly Play Day events where you may play from your choice of Tees. We play various games each Play Day from Scrambles, to Shambles, to Team Totals, to Individual Net games all with our USGA Handicaps. In addition, we also sponsor some special events such as the Masters Par 3 and Match Play as well as hosting several Tournaments and our Club Championship. It is our goal to create an enjoyable golfing experience for all golfers of every age and every skill level as that is who we are, a group of golfers with varying skills and handicaps from beginner to single digit handicappers.
With the new “World Handicap” system being put in place in January 2020, Handicap Calculations are more balanced toward what you have “done” not what you “might” do. This new handicap calculation along with “computer picked teams” that balances all the teams total handicap as close as possible on our Play Day events makes for a fun and enjoyable day on the links. So, come on out and join the fun!
As a group we are involved with Community Outreach partnering with both the First Tee Program of Fort Worth and the Texas National Guard-Army Toy Drive. This overwhelming response by the Association members and the Robson residents reflects positively on the generosity and caring nature of our community.
Membership applications are available at the Pro Shop and on line at www.RRMGA.com. Take a look at our website, it has links to the Play Day calendar, the Chelsea Tee Time Booking System, Score Entry for your Handicap, and many other items of interest to our Members. Dues are $65/ year and an additional $10 if you want to join the Hole-In-One club. Your $65 includes the fees to maintain a GHIN/ World Handicap for you. We hope you will consider joining our group. If you do, please make your check payable to RRMGA and place them in our mailbox in the back of the Pro Shop.
