Our overall objective is focused on providing a complete golfing experience for all golfers, high handicap and low.

The weekly games and most tournaments are open for play from any tee. The majority of us play from the white tees. However, with the inevitability that we are all at the “senior” time of our life, members increasingly play from the gold tees. With the USGA initiative to “Play It Forward”, we are trying to make sure that no senior golfer misses out.

Additionally, the USGA has a calculated adjustment that allows fair competition from different tees. We have implemented that adjustment and it seems to be working well, essentially allowing the high handicapper to continue to play more.

During the past year, the MGA initiated its Community Outreach by partnering with both the First Tee Program of Fort Worth and the Texas National Guard-Army Toy Drive. This overwhelming response by the Association members and the Robson residents reflects positively on the generosity and caring nature of our community.

During 2013, we implemented our own website to provide additional information for our members, enable members to sign-up and register online for play days, tournaments and the semiannual MGA picnics. In addition, we provide play schedules, scores, and photos of member events.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS: Are available at the Pro Shop and on line. Currently dues are $50 and an additional $5 if you want to join the Hole In One club. Make checks payable to RRMGA and place them in our mailbox in the Pro Shop.
